My Recipe for a Productive Day

I hope you realize that every day is a fresh start for you. That every sunrise is a new chapter in your life waiting to be written.

The way I see it, my day can go one of two ways. It’s either a mad dash where I’m always running behind and everything is coming down to the wire, or it’s nice and easy where there is plenty of time for everything I need to get done.

The deciding factor on how my day will go, undoubtedly depends on my morning routine.  The best way I’ve found to stay present and have a fulfilling productive day, is to start each day with a morning routine that sets the tone for  peace and happiness.

So what does that mean? And more importantly, how do you do it?

The answer is simple.

Make time for what feeds your soul.

For me, a morning meditation almost always guarantees that I’ll have a good day. For others, having 20 minutes to sit and drink your coffee in peace and quiet while the little ones sleep is the recipe. There are many ways to build reverence into your morning. I recommend experimenting to find a way the resonates with you!

Whatever you do, remember to be flexible. When you get into any healthy routine that makes you feel good, it’s important not to beat yourself up if you aren’t able to do it every single day. Do what you can. And be kind to yourself. Starting the day off in disappointment won’t help to turn it around.

Keep Shining!
